The Ratafia is a historical Abruzzese Liqueur used in ancient times to toast the ratification of official agreements. Praesidium Ratafia is made with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes and Amarena cherries, some of which are foraged from the woodland at the farm. With a 26.5% alcohol volume Ratafia has a full body and warmth to it. Best served chilled at the end of a meal and is best paired with dark chocolate desserts.
